Earth Day is Every Day! Growing food locally at home or at the community garden has so many benefits for you and the environment!

 

Organically grown seedlings to start the season! 

COME SHOP THE SALE and pick up your preorders. Everyone has been checked out. We will gladly accept cash, charge and SNAP at The Urban Farm Saturday, May 14th from 10 am - 2 pm.

#RecyclingPlasticisFantastic - NEW THIS YEAR- COHOME volunteers will be on site to collect any plastic plant pots and trays to recycle them to reduce, reuse and recycle! Bring your pots and trays from your planting at home and the garden, and these volunteers who make sure they are kept out of landfills.  They are excited to make a difference and we are happy to have them join us at the farm for this great initiative!  Accepted only on Saturday, May 14th!

PICK UP- Saturday, May 14th

10 am - 2pm

The Urban Farm at 31 Hazel Street in Morristown.

  • Check in to get your sheet with your order details.
  • Assemble your order - don't worry- we'll be there to help out. Seedlings are alphabetized.
  • At that time you can also add additional selections to your order and pay on site.
  • The preordering process will help us determine how many plants to transport to the farm in preparation for the sale. 
  • We do welcome walk up orders at the seedling sale, but preordering is the best way to ensure that you will secure the specific plants that you would like.
  • Pickup your preordered composters at the seedling sale only on Saturday, May 14th. Volunteers will be on site to help load your car.
  • You will be texted if the pickup date is changed due to extreme weather to Sunday, May 15th from 10am-2pm.
  • Please return all plastic trays, etc. to Grow It Green at The Urban Farm.

 

YES- we accept SNAP!  for Seedlings/ plants that produce food are eligible for SNAP and  Grow It Green is a SNAP approved site. Contact us at [email protected] to place an order or come on Saturday, May 14th to purchase seedlings!

Donations over $200 will help us provide free seedlings throughout the season to partner organizations for their gardens and to subsidized gardeners. at Early Street Community Garden.
